Police are investigating the incident that took place at Uhuru Park in the night of 6th/7th June 2006 during which Hon. Kivutha Kibwana, MP, the Minister for Environment and Natural Resources as well as Acting Minister for Lands and Settlement and his body guard were injured.

During the unfortunate incident Nairobi City Council employees also confiscated the body guard’s service pistol.

Consequently, three Nairobi City Council workers have been arrested and will appear in court soon.
