Police headquarters regrettably notes that fake KCSE examination papers are circulating in most districts. Students sitting the KCSE examination, their parents and teachers should take notice that these are fraudsters out to extort money from unsuspecting candidates, parents and teachers.

The fake papers in circulation are actually diverting the attention of students sitting examination and interrupting their studies. The fake examination papers have been intercepted in Machakos, Nakuru, Chogoria, the larger Meru districts, Olkalau, Kisii and Nairobi districts.
The papers in circulation have been analysed by the Kenya National examination council and found to be fake.

It is criminal to posses, circulate and sell any examination due to be sat. Persons found selling circulating and possessing examination papers shall be charged and arraigned in court according to the law.
