| In
the recent past, there has been an increase in the number
of serious crimes that include arson, looting, possession
of crude weapons and the illegal blocking of public
roads. These are serious crimes that endanger the lives
and property of law abiding citizens and cannot therefore
be allowed.
The Kenya Police finds it necessary to inform the general
public that any person found engaging in these crimes
must be prepared to face the full force of the law.
The Police will take robust action at all times to protect
the lives and property of Kenyans in accordance with
the law.
The public is further reminded that the law holds any
person who aids or abets crime as being equally responsible
for the crimes committed. Accordingly, members of the
public are advised to avoid joining any unruly crowds
gathered for the purpose of committing crime.
