As we thank NTV for bringing into public limelight the despicable unlawful activities of the racketeers, we wish to appeal to public-spirited Kenyans, including journalists to continue exposing criminal activities to facilitate our prompt action in stamping them out.

On our part, we wish to assure the public that immediate appropriate action is being taken on the wayward police officers and their accomplices exposed in the NTV video.

As a matter of policy Police Headquarters has not and shall not condone the involvement of police officers, other public officials or any other person in unlawful activities.

We shall continue to ensure that those who choose to operate outside the dictates of the law are swiftly brought to justice and severely punished.
